6. Poodle

Poodles come in three sizes: Toy, Miniature, and Standard. All these three varieties can live comfortably with cats. The smallest variety can play with them, the miniature ones can tolerate them, and the standard ones won’t even disturb them. Poodles will love and protect those whom they consider part of their pack including cats. As active dogs they like it best when they receive plenty of exercise, therefore aside from daily walks they also benefit from play sessions.
Poodles are also one of the most intelligent dog breeds, so you should provide them with plenty of mental stimulation such as chew toys and puzzle games to prevent boredom, which can lead to the development of destructive behaviors such as excessive barking, digging, and chewing.
